$16 - $23 per hour based on experience. No experience is necessary.

Kitchen Manager - Yorkville

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager for Craft'd Yorkville, a family owned Restaurant. Fun people, food, and drinks are the name of the game.

Duties include managing Line and Prep Staff, day to day operations, ordering, daily inventory and prep lists, food costing, as well as scheduling.

We are looking for a hard working, dedicated professional to grow with us as we grow. You will be responsible for upholding food and cleanliness standards, learning to prep and cook our diverse menu and will have lots of opportunities to move up and expand your knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Yorkville, IL 60560: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Restaurant Kitchen Management: 5 years (Required)

Responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and consistency in all dishes served.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Handle inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels effectively.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods, including banquets and special events.
• Monitor food costs and assist in budgeting to maximize profitability without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the food industry, with a focus on kitchen management or similar roles.
• Strong skills in kitchen management, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively.
• Experience with food preparation techniques and knowledge of various cuisines
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and inventory control practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
